The Mauritanian flag |
| |
The Mauritanian flag consists of a gold crescent and a five point star on a green field. Several Muslim countries (Pakistan, Tunisia, Turkey) have a crescent in their flag, while the Egyptian, Syrian and Libyan flags have a star. Most Muslim countries have either the color green, the star, or crescent on their flags or a combination of some or all of these symbols. |
